Recurring subjects

I've observed this phenomena for quite a few years now, although I haven't really sat down to record its occurrences. What am I talking about? Do you get intances where a specific 'theme' (using the term very loosely) keeps popping up in the space of a week or 2? Before you can analyse it, it dissapears. Well, I've caught it this time, and I'm going to record it. Starting from now - so that over time I can see if these 'themes' actually mean anything, or if they are just passing coincidences.
